Sterix Food Property Hygiene Incorporated was incorporated with the SEC last November 8, 2002. It was also given the franchise by the Fertilizer and Pesticide Authority to perform pest control services primarily for the food industries last November 26, 2002.

Sterix Inc. was formerly known as Sterix Food Property Hygiene Inc. until it had its present name last January 2007, as its clients had expanded from the food industry to the non-food companies and residences.

STERIX focuses on the integrated application of entomology, HACCP, GMP, and IPM techniques to provide an industry-leading pest management program in preventing the spread of pathogens in food-handling establishments.

Sterix Inc. was formed by a group of experienced entomologist with 10 years of extensive background in pest biology, pesticide chemistry, integrated pest management, GMP, HACCP, plant audits.  They were trained by the US Environmental Program Agency and the American Institute of Baking.

Sterix Inc. is also a proud member of the National Pest Management Association (NPMA), an international organization of Pest Control Operators in the world.  Based on this breadth of experience we can provide our customers the inspection, evaluation and recommendation appropriately, with safety of clients, users and environment as paramount considerations.

The name "STERIX" was derived from the words "sterilization" and "extermination", these being the foundation of pest management in the food safety industry.
